When I was starting out in cycling as a young girl, I never imagined I would have the chance to visit so many different parts of the world by the age of 24.<\/p>\n

I am grateful the sport has given me the opportunity to race in Canada, Egypt, France and the UK, along with regularly competing around Asia.<\/p>\n

Seeing new places is so much fun, but I always get excited about racing at home, and next month\u2019s National Games track cycling is being staged at the Hong Kong Velodrome.<\/p>\n

My biggest goal is to do well in the omnium, which is my favourite event, but I will be giving everything in all my competitions.<\/p>\n

I start with the road race in Zhuhai on November 9. I won gold in Shaanxi in 2021, but no one knew anything about me back then, so I could almost sneak to victory without being noticed.<\/p>\n

I am a better and more professional cyclist than four years ago, but my opponents know that too, and they will be watching me.
