(AP) \u2014 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/news\/2025-26-season-preview-mem\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Memphis Grizzlies<\/a> will be without shooting guard Ty Jerome for at least four weeks with a high-grade right calf strain.<\/p>\n<p>The Grizzlies announced Monday that Jerome will be re-evaluated in four weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Jerome hurt his calf in the first quarter of the Grizzlies\u2019 preseason win at Miami on Friday. The 24th overall pick in the 2019 draft joined the Grizzlies this offseason. Jerome has played for Phoenix, Oklahoma City, Golden State and Cleveland.<\/p>\n<p>This is just the latest injury for the Grizzlies. Center Zach Edey is recovery from ankle surgery. Guard Scotty Pippen Jr. will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nba.com\/news\/grizzlies-scotty-pippen-jr-to-have-toe-surgery-and-miss-start-of-season\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">miss the start of the season<\/a> needing a procedure on his left big toe.
