Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge has reportedly been the victim of a disturbing extortion attempt, prompting the AFL integrity unit to appoint a security guard earlier this year.<\/p>\n
According to court documents obtained by Nine, the Bulldogs coach received a letter in late June demanding $100,000 in a \u201cmanner which a reasonable person would regard as menacing\u201d.<\/p>\n
While the exact contents of the document have not been revealed, it is alleged that 53-year-old Brendon Berry, the son of late boxing trainer Leo Berry, sent the letter.<\/p>\n
