Singer Ryan Adams<\/a> has stoked the fire, declaring Australia<\/a> the “\ufeffworst country ever” after a series of antics on stage.<\/p>\n

The 50-year-old had recently been travelling across the country on his Heartbreaker ’25 tour\ufeff. However, he had been behaving erratically on stage, causing fans to complain and even leave the gigs early.<\/p>\n

Some of Adams’ behaviours included \ufeffleaving the stage mid-song, complaining about the flashing lights of cameras, and rambling about his ex-wife, actress Mandy Moore.<\/p>\n

One fan shared, “Was good at the start of the show, but slowly began ranting, rambling and being bitter at Mandy.<\/p>\n

“He said he was ill. Fair enough. But maybe battle through a song or two and get off. But he kept abandoning songs and saying ‘I’m sorry, this is s–t’,” another added.<\/p>\n

The singer later shared an apology on Instagram following his shows in Sydney.<\/p>\n

“I overreacted to a troll who repeatedly harassed myself and others in Sydney. It was a beautiful show. It was wrong. I should have just showed the standing ovation.<\/p>\n

“I am sick with a bruised sternum and a chest cold. When I cough it feels like I have a chest buster from Alien in me.I don’t want to be one of those people and that’s what happened. I’m too old for that mess now. To tired. Too in love with my life.<\/p>\n

“To my agents and management and my crew and my fans I am sorry.I am a bit of a Scorpio bastard once in a moon.With respect and love, DRA\ufeff”.<\/p>\n

But soon after, he uploaded a now-deleted post in which he disparaged Australia, calling it the “worst country ever, every time to play. Thank f*** never again”.<\/p>\n

“You are the worst people and you know it and the best you can go is copy Americans and UK culture,” the post reportedly read.<\/p>\n

“Stew in your own juices.”<\/p>\n

The singer then moved on to the New Zealand leg of the tour, which he seemed to enjoy more, even slipping in a dig at his Aussie audience.<\/p>\n

Before a show in Wellington, the singer uploaded the setlist, sharing, “I get so much done with the audience takes the no flash\/ health hazard phone flash thing seriously. Still can’t see out of my left eye. Thanks AUS. See you never\ufeff”<\/p>\n

He had previously shared in an apology post for his Melbourne concert, which he has since deleted, \ufeffthat he was “wildly embarrassed and disappointed” for his behaviour on-stage, which he said was caused by an ocular seizure brought on by camera flashes.<\/p>\n

“I love you all and I’m so sorry. You did nothing wrong. It’s normal to take photos and it’s normal to use a flash. I’ve had this my whole life and it’s been a real struggle because I love playing music for you live and I just can’t play with my eyes closed all night.”<\/p>\n

As he wrapped up his New Zealand shows, Adams noted it would be his last shows overseas.<\/p>\n

“I might not see you again but I’ll keep making these records and books because I love it\u2026. And I love you,” he said ahead of his Auckland show.<\/p>\n
