But did you know there&#8217;s a simple way to make your homemade <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/all-about\/recipes\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">soups <\/a>even healthier?<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"mirror\">A TikTok user known as <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@ketorecipes\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">@ketorecipes<\/a> has shared a clever trick for adding a whopping 75g of protein to your soups, and it&#8217;s surprisingly easy to do. Not only is this soup packed with health benefits but, according to the creator, it&#8217;s also incredibly tasty and has a wonderfully creamy texture. If you&#8217;re a fan of butternut squash, this recipe is definitely one to try.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"mirror\">To prepare the soup, he starts by halving a squash, scooping out the insides and scoring it diagonally with a knife. He then places it in an oven-safe pan along with some chopped red onion and bell peppers.<\/p>\n<p>Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"mirror\">Before roasting, he drizzles olive oil over the top, seasons with a little salt and his preferred spices, and adds a bulb of garlic to the pan. The dish is then roasted in the oven at 210C for around 45 to 50 minutes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"mirror\">He explains: &#8220;When it&#8217;s done, blend it all together with the two undisputed protein superstars. I&#8217;m of course talking about bone broth and cottage cheese.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"mirror\">In the video&#8217;s caption, he reveals that he uses approximately 500ml of bone broth and three-quarters of a tub of cottage cheese to finish off the soup.
