Major winners Minjee Lee, Hannah Green and Grace Kim will lead a powerful Australian line-up at the prestigious women’s International Crown team event in South Korea.<\/p>\n
With Lee, Green, 2025 major winner Grace Kim and mercurial talent Steph Kyriacou forming a formidable team, Australia is seeded fourth for the biennial match-play event, which begins on Thursday.<\/p>\n
After losing the 2023 final to Thailand, which will again be led by world number one Jeeno Thitikul, Green is tipping another strong showing from the Australians.<\/p>\n
“We are all very excited and we are all competitive against one another,” Green said.<\/p>\n
“Hopefully that will show when we are playing on the golf course.<\/p>\n
“We’re really excited and I wouldn’t be surprised if we do well, because we have a good team bond and that is very important for this tournament.”<\/p>\n
Even without world number two Nelly Korda, the United States is top seed ahead of Japan, South Korea and Australia.<\/p>\n
Thailand, Sweden, a World team and China round out the eight-team event.<\/p>\n

Australia has been pitted against the US, Thailand and eighth-seeded China in Pool A.<\/p>\n
World number three Lee is the only player at the event to have featured in all six previous editions.<\/p>\n
Green returned to form last week with her first top-10 finish of the season since April.<\/p>\n
After missing the cut in five of her previous six starts, Green credited her tie for fifth at the Ladies Championship in South Korea to a more relaxed approach.<\/p>\n
“I think throughout the season I was searching to see what I was doing wrong,” Green said.<\/p>\n
“Usually at our level, we are always repeating \u2014 it might be just a little tweak here and there.”<\/p>\n
