Dakota Johnson<\/a> has given a blunt response to a question about her love of the “naked dress” trend.<\/p>\n

\ufeffJohnson, 36, said she simply didn’t care what anyone says or thinks about her outfit choices because she loved them.<\/p>\n

The Fifty Shades of Grey actress told Vogue Germany<\/a> she felt confident in the dresses when asked whether she was worried the see-through gowns might be “too sexy.”<\/p>\n

“I really don’t care,” Johnson replied bluntly.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been able to wear some of the most beautiful dresses, and I feel beautiful in them, so I wear them.”<\/p>\n

Johnson added that sometimes they look good on her, but other times she didn’t like how they looked.<\/p>\n

“It depends on the shape, the finish, the colour, and everything else,” she said.<\/p>\n

“If I find a beautiful dress that I feel comfortable in, of course, I want to wear it! And it’s fun to wear a sexy dress.”\ufeff<\/p>\n

Johnson added that her famous parents, actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, helped instil confidence in her.<\/p>\n

She said her mum was “very open” about “bodies.”<\/p>\n

“She taught us how to take care of our bodies and love them, and that our bodies are beautiful,” Johnson said.<\/p>\n

The Materialists star’s most well-known “naked” look was the black lace Gucci dress she wore to \ufeffthe Kering Foundation Care For Women Dinner in September, paired with a black bra and underwear.<\/p>\n

The dress was a halter neck and had long sleeve\ufeffs, covering the actress in floral embroidery.<\/p>\n

Just two weeks later, she outdid herself again, wearing a stunning \ufeffsheer blue lace gown to the Zurich Film Festival on September 25.<\/p>\n

This time, the gown was completely sheer on top, with nothing underneath. \ufeff<\/p>\n

Johnson has worn many “naked gowns”, some more subtle than others.<\/p>\n
