\t\t\tRICHMOND, Va. \u2013\u00a0North Carolina A&T\u2019s Ekaterina Prokhorova and Towson\u2019s Victoriah Kuranga split CAA Women\u2019s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday after successful weeks for their respective programs.

\nCO-WOMEN\u2019S GOLFER OF THE WEEK

\nSenior | Moscow, Russia
\nProkhorova closed out one of the Aggies\u2019 best fall campaigns in school history by being one of two golfers who shot under par in the three-round UNCG Invitational. The senior posted a second-place finish with a 1-under 215. Prokhorova\u2019s runner-up finish was her fifth straight tournament carding inside the top five. Her second-place mark is the highest finish by any Aggie in the eight times North Carolina A&T has played in the UNCG Collegiate. The Moscow, Russia native is just the second Aggie to finish inside the top five at the event, besting Tori Mouton’s fifth-place finish from a year ago. Prokhorova posted a 3-under in her best 18-hole showing of the weekend, closing out the second round with birdies on two of the final three holes.

\nCO-WOMEN\u2019S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
\nVictoriah Kuranga, Towson
\nSophomore | Atlanta, Ga.
\nKuranga picked up her first collegiate individual title following a pair of playoff holes at the Red Flash Invitational, hosted by Saint Francis (Pa.). After battling the opening round to a 4-over, Kuranga came out swinging to start the final round. She birdied on the second hole before sinking an eagle on the par-4 third hole. Kuranga finished the round at even-par before heading to the playoff. The Atlanta, Ga., native squared off with Duquesne’s Sasha Petrochko, seeing both sink their par shot on the first playoff. The two went back to the tee and saw Kuranga emerge victorious with another par, while Petrochko posted a double bogey.<\/p>\n
