Hugh Jackman<\/a> has posed for a rare photo alongside his girlfriend, Sutton Foster<\/a>, in New York City.<\/p>\n

The 57-year-old Australian was a guest performer during American singer Richard Marx’s After Hours Confessions show at Caf\u00e9 Carlyle on Tuesday night (Wednesday AEDT).<\/p>\n

After the performance, Jackman and Marx posed for a photo backstage with their respective partners – Marx with model and TV host Daisy Fuentes, Jackman with Foster.<\/p>\n

Marx and \ufeffFuentes were dressed in matching black and white ensembles, while Jackman donned a blue suit as he cuddled up to Foster, who was in a ribbed white knit dress.<\/p>\n

The outing was a return favour of sorts, with Marx joining his friend of more than 20 years, Jackman, during his Radio City Music Hall residency.<\/p>\n

The duo performed a duet of Marx’s 1989 hit Right Here Waiting during a Hugh Jackman: From New York with Love show in June.<\/p>\n

Jackman and Foster only confirmed their long-speculated romance in January this year when they were photographed holding hands while out in LA and were later seen kissing as Jackman picked up Foster, 50.<\/p>\n

The couple, who have known each other for decades through musical theatre circles, subsequently laid low after Jackman’s estranged wife Deborra-lee Furness took a swipe at her famous ex when filing for divorce in May this year.<\/p>\n

“My heart and compassion goes out to everyone who has traversed the traumatic journey of betrayal,” she said.<\/p>\n

“It’s a profound wound that cuts deep, however I believe in a higher power and that God\/the universe, whatever you relate to as your guidance, is always working FOR us.”<\/p>\n

It’s understood sparks flew between Jackman and Foster as they appeared together on-stage in the Broadway revival of The Music Man in 2022, when they were both married to their respective spouses.<\/p>\n

Jackman then announced his shock split from Australian actress Furness in September 2023, after 27 years of marriage.<\/p>\n

A year later, in October 2024, Foster filed for divorce from her husband of almost 10 years, screenwriter Ted Griffin.<\/p>\n

Jackman and Foster have walked many red carpets together and posed for photos before but all of those were before they were publicly together.<\/p>\n

They are yet to make their red carpet debut together as a couple.<\/p>\n
