Bulega has already been named as part of Ducati\u2019s MotoGP development team from 2026 ahead of the new regulations in 2027 \u2013 and that\u2019s part of the rationale.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s something that we&#8217;ll do because we want him to be confident with the bike because of his 2026 job, where he will help us develop the new bike,\u201d says Team Manager Davide Tardozzi. \u201cSo having him know about the 1000cc bike is something that can help him in the future. Then after the test we will decide what to do for the next two races. The test will be in Jerez. It&#8217;s something that we would like to do, we are still discussing with him. But it&#8217;s something that we think could be better but everything will be decided after this race.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>With reigning Champion Marc <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motogp.com\/en\/news\/2025\/10\/23\/marc-marquez-to-miss-valencia-gp-set-for-return-in-2026\/761789\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marquez confirmed on the sidelines until 2026<\/a>, \u201ceverything will be decided\u201d refers to whether they\u2019ll field Bulega as the #93\u2019s replacement in Portugal and Valencia.
