NFL Week 8 picks include Chiefs and Colts<\/p>\n

The Pack’s visit to Pittsburgh is clearly the marquee game on a light Week 8 slate.Six teams will be on their bye this weekend.Another potentially fun matchup? Cowboys at Broncos, pitting Dallas’ explosive offense against Denver’s elite D.<\/p>\n

The NFL<\/a>‘s upcoming slate of Week 8 games<\/a> is a light one. Six teams (Cardinals<\/a>, Lions<\/a>, Jaguars<\/a>, Raiders<\/a>, Rams<\/a>, Seahawks<\/a>) will be on bye, that mass absence dovetailing at a point of the season when the league is pausing its International Series and moving away from its recent Monday night doubleheaders<\/a>.<\/p>\n

None of that is to say it won’t be an eventful weekend.<\/p>\n

Thursday night kicks off with a pair of 2024 playoff teams struggling to get back to the postseason, the Minnesota Vikings<\/a> visiting the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a> at a time when both teams are working through significant injury setbacks.<\/p>\n

What projects as a fairly ho-hum Sunday afternoon slate will feature the Denver Broncos<\/a> hosting another NFC East team, the Dallas Cowboys<\/a>, in what’s hopefully as entertaining a contest as last Sunday’s Broncos-Giants affair<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But Week 8’s pi\u00e8ce de resistance involves Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> QB Aaron Rodgers<\/a> facing his original team, the Green Bay Packers<\/a> \u2212 they famously chose the eventual four-time MVP late in Round 1 of the 2005 draft \u2212 for the first time Sunday night at Acrisure Stadium. No revenge required.<\/p>\n
