The Manly Sea Eagles<\/a> have finally confirmed the arrival of winger Blake Wilson<\/a> from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One of three players at the Bulldogs who were without a deal for next season, Wilson has unfortunately seen himself fall down the pecking order in recent months.<\/p>\n

This has seen him overlooked in favour of veterans\u00a0Enari Tuala<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Marcelo Montoya<\/a>, as well as rookie\u00a0Jethro Rinakama<\/a>, who has played in the\u00a02025 NRL Finals<\/a>\u00a0series after earning Under-19s\u00a0NSW\u00a0<\/a>Blues<\/a>\u00a0honours earlier in the season.<\/p>\n

A handy back-up winger, Wilson has now left the Bulldogs to sign a two-year contract with the Manly Sea Eagles<\/a> until at least the end of the 2027 NRL<\/a> season.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s an exciting move for me and one that I’m really looking forward to,\u201d Wilson said ahead of the move to the Northern Beaches of Sydney.<\/p>\n

\u201cI look forward to meeting my new teammates and all the staff. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing from Noosa, the coastal lifestyle is also a big plus for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Only featuring in six first-grade matches this season, the move to the Sea Eagles comes after he was linked with a move to the\u00a0Parramatta Eels<\/a>\u00a0at the end of last season.<\/p>\n

Now he will contend with the likes of Clayton Faulalo<\/a>,\u00a0Reuben Garrick<\/a>,\u00a0Lehi Hopoate<\/a>,\u00a0Tolutau Koula<\/a>,\u00a0Jason Saab<\/a>, and\u00a0Tom Trbojevic<\/a>\u00a0for a spot in the back-line.<\/p>\n

\u201cBlake is a talented winger who is good at his craft and who knows his way to the tryline,\u201d coach Anthony Seibold<\/a> said.<\/p>\n
