The talented O\u2019Riordan brothers, two young kickboxers from Ballycullane, represented Ireland with distinction at the ICO World Championships in Swansea recently.<\/p>\n

Dean and Jesse-James O\u2019Riordan brought home two world titles and six medals in total, a massive accomplishment for such young athletes.<\/p>\n

The siblings train out of the Pat Rockett Martial Arts Academy in Waterford under head coaches Pat Rockett and Clodagh Cullen, who is also the ICO President of Ireland.<\/p>\n

They travelled alongside seven other talented Irish athletes to the World Championships earlier this month, competing across four days of intense international competition.<\/p>\n

In total, Team Ireland brought home 19 world medals \u2013 an incredible achievement for such a small team \u2013 and the O\u2019Riordan brothers\u2019 results were particularly impressive.<\/p>\n

Dean (10) is the K1 World champion and Full Contact World champion, as well as a silver medal winner in boxing.<\/p>\n

Jesse-James O\u2019Riordan (8) won silver in Light Contact and Low Kick, along with bronze in Full Contact.<\/p>\n

The boys are dedicated members of the Pat Rockett Martial Arts Academy, training several times a week alongside their team-mates who also achieved tremendous success in Swansea.<\/p>\n
