The Walllabies have four Tests coming up:<\/p>\n
vs England in London, November 2 (2:10am)vs Italy in Udine, November 9 (4:40am)vs Ireland in Dublin, November 16 (7:10am)vs France in Paris, November 23 (7:10am)<\/p>\n
ABC Sport will be live blogging each Test.<\/p>\n

Wallabies’s takeaways<\/p>\n
A win is a win, that can’t be denied.<\/p>\n
There was nothing polished about the Wallabies’s performance, but they impressively dug deep when under pressure from the Brave Blossoms in the second half.<\/p>\n
Joe Schmidt’s decision to rest players and use others \u2014 such as regular skipper Harry Wilson \u2014 off the bench could have backfired.<\/p>\n
But the opportunity to build a case for selection later in the tour was made by the likes of Hunter Paisami, while Jake Gordon showed the benefit of experience in the key role of scrum half.<\/p>\n
Some concerns for the Wallabies, though, with Lukhan Salakaia-Loto and Josh Canham in the casualty ward.<\/p>\n
Still, a positive start made to their five-Test tour ahead of their trek to Europe.<\/p>\n

What a tight finish!<\/p>\n
The Walllabies were awarded a penalty in the shadows of full-time and were able to hold onto possession through a series of phases until the hooter sounded.<\/p>\n
The Brave Blossoms put up an almighty fight, especially in the second half.<\/p>\n
The result is vindication for Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt’s decision to field an understrength line-up.<\/p>\n
Schmidt made the decision with the remaining four Tests of the tour in mind.<\/p>\n
But credit to Eddie Jones’s Brave Blossoms, who came close to recording their first win over the Wallabies.<\/p>\n
The wet conditions didn’t help either side, and the Wallabies were able to look to their wiser heads late in the match to seal the result.<\/p>\n

The TMO Richard Kelly wanted to check for a possible knock-on and there appeared to be a communication issue with referee Ben O’Keeffe but the try was awarded.<\/p>\n
The conversion was added and it’s the Wallabies ahead by only four points.<\/p>\n

They soon earned field position and went to touch from a penalty close to the Brave Blossoms’s goal line.<\/p>\n
From a driving maul, Tizzano got the ball down across the stripe to restore the Wallabies’ 11-point lead.<\/p>\n
The conversion atttempt, though, went astray.<\/p>\n

They launched a series of attacking raids before Takeuchi split the defensive line for a much-needed try.<\/p>\n
Alas, the conversion attempt was unsuccessful and it’s the Wallabies leading 14-8.<\/p>\n
