China\u2019s central bank pledged to keep the country\u2019s stock, bond and foreign-exchange markets stable, and said it will further promote the internationalization of the yuan to expand its use in cross-border payments. <\/p>\n
The People\u2019s Bank of China<\/a> also reiterated its intention to \u201cdeepen reform\u201d of the yuan exchange rate mechanism, while keeping the currency stable at a \u201creasonable and equilibrium\u201d level, according to a statement<\/a> released Friday night.
