From tropical getaways and lavish around-the-world trips to jumping on a boat AND catching fish right here in WA, West Coast and Fremantle stars are kicking back in style this off-season.<\/p>\n

The Dockers bowed out in an elimination final against Gold Coast last month, weeks after the Eagles\u2019 one-win season came to an end, and the sides\u2019 top players have made the most of a well-needed recharge.<\/p>\n

Fremantle captain Alex Pearce and superstar midfielder Hayden Young have spent plenty of quality time together, with the pair travelling around Ireland after stopping off in Vietnam beforehand.<\/p>\n

The duo posted a series of photos to their social media, showing off the Ha Giang Loop \u2014 a popular tourist destination which features a 370km motorbike route over multiple days but gifts travellers with stunning views and a deep dive into the local culture.<\/p>\n

While in the the Asian country, Pearce and Young linked up with teammates Matthew Johnson, Karl Worner and former Docker-turned-Blue Liam Reidy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks-a-million Ireland,\u201d Young posted to his Instagram with a number of photos from the trip.<\/p>\n

Star ruckman Luke Jackson soaked up the sun at Hamilton Island, posting a number of pictures from his tropical holiday. His teammate Brennan Cox vacationed in the same spot with his partner Keah Waters and little boy Arlo, with the pair posting a number of pictures out on the boat together.<\/p>\n

The State\u2019s two big Reids \u2014 Murphy and Harley \u2014 both went back to Victoria, with the latter heading home to Tongala and stopping by his childhood footy club.<\/p>\n

Murphy dusted off the suit he wore after heading to the Brownlow to claim the rising star medal and posted a number of photos dressed up trackside for the Melbourne spring racing carnival.<\/p>\n

The Eagles took a club footy trip to Thailand, with the likes of star Liam Baker and up-and-comer Tyrell Dewar sharing pictures from the holiday.<\/p>\n

Baker shared a photo having a beer with young guns Clay Hall and Jack Hutchison.<\/p>\n

The former Tiger\u2019s best mate Jack Graham has been racking up his frequent flyer points during the footy break, leaving Thailand to explore the beauty that Spain has to offer in the architectural marvel of Barcelona.<\/p>\n

The keen fisher then reeled in a cracking swordfish on the Spanish island Mallorca, earning praise from fishing fanatic Mark Lecras in the comments.<\/p>\n

Next stop on the Europe tour was London, where Graham caught up with his teammate Matt Flynn and other AFL players James Peatling and Harry Perryman, sharing a picture of himself outside the Buckingham Palace. Harry Barnett also posted a number of pictures in Europe alongside partner Sophie Walsh.<\/p>\n

But it is Carlton recruit Matt Owies who may have come away as one of the biggest winners this off-season, popping the question to his now fiancee Kristen Varnis while on vacation in Greece.<\/p>\n

Eagles young gun Ryan Maric headed over to New Zealand with partner Emily Langdon.<\/p>\n

\u201cQuick NZ getaway,\u201d he wrote with snow emojis.<\/p>\n

While off the back of his third consecutive Doig medal, Caleb Serong has shown that you don\u2019t need to leave the State to have a holiday, taking a trip down south to visit some of WA\u2019s renowned vineyards in Margaret River, stopping off at a pair of popular spots in Menzies Vineyard and the award winning Moss Wood.<\/p>\n

\u201cLong weekend down south visiting some amazing local vineyards,\u201d he posted on Instagram last week.<\/p>\n

And he wasn\u2019t the only one holidaying in his own backyard, with fellow Freo star Neil Erasmus posting a number of pictures fishing up north \u2014 but it was far too wholesome for teammate Jordan Clark\u2019s liking, who wrote: \u201cBro, have a beer.\u201d<\/p>\n
