{"id":245044,"date":"2025-10-27T22:45:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-27T22:45:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/245044\/"},"modified":"2025-10-27T22:45:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-27T22:45:10","slug":"blanchard-racing-team-set-to-re-sign-aaron-cameron-for-supercars-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/245044\/","title":{"rendered":"Blanchard Racing Team set to re-sign Aaron Cameron for Supercars 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TIM Blanchard has hinted at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1568-Aaron-Cameron\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Aaron Cameron<\/a>\u2019s contract renewal in reflecting upon a promising Gold Coast weekend for the Ford squad.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-15-James-Courtney\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">James Courtney<\/a> was the highest non-finals driver on Saturday, finishing seventh, before he and Cameron made for two Blanchard Racing Team cars in the Sunday Top 10 Shootout.<\/p>\n<p>Courtney was on for another strong race result until being nudged into the Turn 11 barriers by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1264-Anton-De Pasquale\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anton De Pasquale<\/a> and collected by an unsighted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/stats-driver-1189-Richie-Stanaway\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Richie Stanaway<\/a> to force him into a DNF.<\/p>\n<p>MORE: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.v8sleuth.com.au\/courtneys-stinging-response-to-de-pasquale-clash\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Courtney\u2019s stinging response to De Pasquale clash<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cameron meanwhile brought his CoolDrive Mustang home in 10th on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the continuation of progress for a team which was absolute backmarkers in Rounds 2 and 3 of the season (Albert Park and Taup\u014d).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a good weekend. We keep moving forward. Pic: Supplied\/Jack Martin<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe got two top 10 results and having both Mustangs in the Shootout on Sunday was a highlight.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJC just loves this place, which is his home race, and Aaron Cameron is really starting to progress.
