\n\t\t\t\t\t\tOne person was taken to the hospital after falling from the stands at PPG Paints Arena during the Penguins vs. Blues game on Monday. Allegheny County dispatchers confirmed to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 that police and emergency responders were called to the arena after 7:30 p.m. We’re told one person was taken to the hospital. Our news partners at the Trib reported that a man fell immediately after the Pittsburgh Penguins scored their second goal in Monday\u2019s game against the St. Louis Blues.He appeared to have been unconscious, according to a witness who spoke to the Trib. Photos shared with Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 appeared to show broken glass from one of the top levels at the arena. Play wasn\u2019t halted after the fall, and few in the arena appeared to see it happen, although some social media accounts posted about it. It is unclear the extent of injuries or how the incident occurred.This incident comes days after a worker at Acrisure Stadium was seriously injured after falling 50 feet from the stadium’s scoreboard while installing production equipment. It also comes months after Pirates fan Kavan Markwood fell from the Clemente Wall in right field at PNC Park during a Pirates game in April.
