If I\u2019m going into a corner, if there\u2019s a bit of a tailwind or I\u2019ve got a bit of a circulation or [a] tow, I need to know that before I go into the corners.\u201d<\/p>\n While Rosberg admits that he \u2018constantly\u2019 checked the lap delta on his steering wheel during the 2016 F1 drivers\u2019 championship<\/a> winner\u2019s career, the German just cannot understand why Albon turned his delta on during qualifying for the Belgian GP to follow where the wind was.<\/p>\n Rosberg added: \u201cIf I remember back, I\u2019m constantly, even during a qualifying lap, constantly looking at this delta time all the time, which, perhaps, is a bit unnecessary because it\u2019s just an unnecessary waste of concentration.<\/p>\n \u201cBut for him to have a button to switch it on all the time? That\u2019s the weird part. [That\u2019s more of a distraction], especially for him to switch it on so he understands where the wind is coming from? That doesn\u2019t make sense to me. Amazing!\u201d<\/p>\n Albon\u2019s method clearly worked for him on Saturday to score Williams\u2019 best qualifying result of the 2025 F1 season<\/a> so far with P5 on the grid for the Belgian GP.
