\n\tA bevy of high-profile stars from Broadway performer and Destiny\u2019s Child alum<\/a> Michelle Williams<\/a> to Tina Knowles and more styled designer pieces and dramatic looks for the 27th annual Angel Ball on Monday night in New York City.<\/p>\n

\n\tGowns by Valdrin Sahiti, Bibu Mohapatra and more provided the perfect amount of sartorial theatricality, while streamlined Saint Laurent<\/a> pieces evoked a moody fall statement. WWD breaks down those red carpet looks and more ahead.<\/p>\n

\n\tWilliams\u2019 Bibu Mohapatra bustier column gown, crafted in faille and velvet fabric, was designed with an elongated frame and figure-hugging silhouette. The dress, in black and white color blocking, featured a gazar petal drape at the hips for an exaggerated, yet soft, element. The train of the gown added a touch of drama.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cDeath Becomes Her\u201d Broadway show <\/a>star accessorized her look with jewelry pieces by Lorraine Schwartz. Glam for Williams was provided by Neil Scibelli, Ty Hunter and New Jersey sew-in hairstylist Fetishhhe.<\/p>\n

\n\tKnowles carried drama and the ongoing fall burgundy trend<\/a> in a voluminous Valdrin Sahiti gown. The velvet dress featured structure contrasted by fluidity. The \u201cMatriarch\u201d author\u2019s gown featured sheer beaded panel glides through the bodice along with a thigh-high slit. Construction of the gown weaved intricate embroidery with crystal embellishments, articulating sensuality and a regal presence.<\/p>\n

\n\tLike Knowles, Gayle King embraced autumnal tones as well, wearing a silky satin orange dress with an asymmetrical neckline and floral appliqu\u00e9s on the one sleeve. The dress was constructed with a fitted bodice, slightly cinched at the waist, and the skirt included a flowing column. At the back of the dress and connected to the single sleeve, fabric flowed effortlessly for a train-like effect.<\/p>\n

The Oscar-nominated \u201cMudbound\u201d actress wore a long-sleeve dress in black with asymmetrical draping and crystal stones on the semi-sheer bodysuit. Glam for Blige was provided by Merrell Hollis, Hair by Jaz Mink and Jeremy Haynes. <\/p>\n

\n\tBrooks Nader took a leaf from Zo\u00eb Kravitz\u2019s \u201cThe Batman\u201d<\/a> promotional tour style book with her Saint Laurent<\/a> dress. The sleek black dress featured cutouts beneath the bustline and a figure-hugging silhouette. Nader\u2019s dress is the same Saint Laurent design worn by Kravitz at a screening of \u201cThe Batman\u201d in February 2022.<\/p>\n

\n\tFounded in memory of Gabrielle Rich Aouad, the annual Angel Ball supports Gabrielle\u2019s Angel Foundation for Cancer Research. Sponsored by Lorraine Schwartz, the 2025 edition of the gala honored Knowles, Amy Green and Skye and Don Rufus Hankey.
