<\/p>\nGolfers. We\u2019re a superstitious lot, generally. Thus, it\u2019s not surprising to hear of a fellow hacker who puts the exact same items in the exact same pockets for every round. That\u2019s par for the course (couldn\u2019t resist). On the other hand, some golfers couldn\u2019t care less: Grab a handful of tees at the pro shop and be on your way (and ask to borrow a divot tool on the first green because you forgot yours\u2026then use one of said tees as a ball marker because you forgot that as well).<\/p>\n
It was interesting, then, to see\u00a0@AthensGolfer9 pose the following question in the forums.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat does everyone carry in their pockets while they play? I used to be a \u201ctake everything but a ball marker and a couple of tees out of pockets\u201d kinda guy, but I\u2019ve been hitting the range the past few weeks and have left my phone in my pocket. I do not have a range finder yet and am relying on my phone to track distances on the course, so I\u2019m tempted to start playing rounds with my phone on me. What do y\u2019all think? Is this going to throw me off or is it a matter of preference?\u201d<\/p>\n
For my part, it doesn\u2019t matter which front pockets the following goes in, but some combination of a divot tool, a SEPTA token ball marker, 3-4 tees.<\/p>\n

\u201cFront right pocket is usually a ball marker\/divot tool combo. I have a few cool ones (Seamus, MannKrafted, Lajosi, Lamb, etc.) that have some great patina.<\/p>\n
\u201cI always stick my tee between my hat and my right temple. Have done this since I was a kid \u2013 idk haha. Doesn\u2019t bother me! I also use plastic tees, I know\u2026 I\u2019m no purist.<\/p>\n
