Western Bulldogs<\/a> have finalised their playing list ahead of the October 31st list lodgement, signing Oskar Baker<\/a> and Nick Coffield<\/a> to one-year extensions.<\/p>\n

The duo were forced to bide their time as the Bulldogs worked through the trade and free agency space, as well as their plans for the upcoming National Draft in November.<\/p>\n

“We’re really pleased to retain both Nick and Oskar for 2026, with the duo having plenty to offer the Club moving forward,” Bulldogs EGM Sam Power said.<\/p>\n

“Oskar had a terrific end to the 2025 season, coming back into the AFL<\/a> side and making an impact as a wingman with his speed and ability to break the lines.<\/p>\n

“Nick built some continuity in his game over the back half of 2025 and has shown some promising attributes in defence.”<\/p>\n

Baker and Coffield both played in the club’s VFL premiership win over the Southport Sharks<\/a>, and will get the chance to impress Luke Beveridge<\/a> for at least another 12 months.<\/p>\n

The former Saint was drafted with Pick 8 in the 2017 draft, and played 52 games for the Moorabbin club before he was traded two years ago.<\/p>\n

Injuries have plagued Coffield throughout his AFL<\/a> journey, limiting him to 64 AFL<\/a> matches over eight years.<\/p>\n

Baker was taken by Melbourne in the same draft as Coffield, and featured 15 times for the Demons before he moved to the Bulldogs as a delisted free agent.<\/p>\n

Since 2023, he has played 30 games for the Whitten Oval club, including nine this season.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs farewelled Jamarra Ugle-Hagan<\/a>\u00a0(trade, Gold Coast),\u00a0Taylor Duryea<\/a>\u00a0(retired),\u00a0Liam Jones<\/a>\u00a0(delisted),\u00a0Anthony Scott<\/a>\u00a0(delisted),\u00a0Jason Johannisen<\/a> (delisted) and Caleb Poulter<\/a> (delisted) during the most recent off-season.<\/p>\n
