It’s a quick turnaround for Game 4 of the World Series<\/a> after the Dodgers<\/a> outlasted the Blue Jays<\/a> in Game 3’s epic 18-inning marathon.<\/p>\n

Game 4 of the World Series will air exclusively on FOX at 8 p.m. ET, and through streaming on FOXSports.com<\/a>, the FOX Sports App and FOX One.<\/a><\/p>\n

Starting Pitchers<\/p>\n

Shohei Ohtani<\/a> is scheduled to pitch for the Dodgers, and what a sight that will be. It will be the Japanese two-way superstar’s first appearance on the mound in a World Series game. His last pitching appearance was in the Game 4 clincher over the Brewers<\/a> in the NLCS. That game was tabbed as the greatest individual performance ever<\/a> as he went six innings and struck out 10 players \u2013 while hitting three home runs. Ohtani now has seven home runs at home this postseason, setting a new MLB<\/a> record.<\/p>\n

The Blue Jays will have their own formidable starter in former Cy Young winner Shane Bieber<\/a> for Tuesday’s game. Acquired at the trade deadline, the two-time All-Star has had three postseason starts. He went just shy of three innings against the Yankees<\/a> in the NLDS, sent six innings for the win in Game 4 of the ALCS against the Mariners<\/a>, and then four innings in the Game 7 clincher in Seattle.<\/p>\n

Dodgers Starting Lineup<\/p>\n

In Game 3, for the second time in as many World Series, Freddie Freeman<\/a> was the walkoff hero. Freeman now has 19 career walkoff hits (including postseason), which ties Lou Whitaker and Hall of Famer Carlton Fisk for fourth most in the last 50 years, and is the only player with more than one walk-off home run in the World Series.<\/p>\n

Somehow, Will Smith<\/a> is the starting catcher for the Dodgers in Game 4, despite working behind the plate for a record 18 innings in Game 3. Ohtani, a day after setting a record by reaching base nine times in one game \u2013 which included four intentional walks and a pair of homers \u2013 will both bat leadoff and be the starting pitcher in Game 4.<\/p>\n

Blue Jays manager John Schneider will be without George Springer<\/a> in Tuesday’s game, who exited Monday’s loss<\/a> in the seventh inning after what appeared to be an oblique injury. It may signal the end of Springer’s postseason, depending on the severity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With Springer out for at least this game, Schneider will use Nathan Lukes<\/a> in the leadoff spot with Bo Bichette<\/a> taking over the DH spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n
