ARDEN, N.C. \u2013\u00a0Marshall Women’s Golf wrapped up the final event of their fall season at the French Broad Collegiate Invitational on Tuesday at Cliffs at Walnut Cove in Arden, N.C.<\/p>\n

Senior Olivia Kochan<\/a> and junior Maddi Hudson<\/a> each earned top-20 finishes in the event with Kochan finishing T-16 and Hudson notching a T-18 finish.<\/p>\n

In a rain-soaked tournament, Hudson turned in the best round of any Marshall player during the event on Tuesday when she had a 2-over 74 to conclude the fall.<\/p>\n

Hudson finished the round with two birdies and 13 pars in a consistent effort on the course despite adverse conditions.<\/p>\n

Marshall finished sixth in the 10-team event that was shortened to 36 holes due to inclement weather that hindered the practice rounds and first day of play.<\/p>\n

With the finish, Marshall’s fall season comes to a close. The Herd’s next event will be the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz., on Feb. 9.<\/p>\n
