WACO, Texas \u2013\u00a0The UNT women’s golf team wrapped up the fall season with a third-place finish at the Bear Brawl at Ridgewood Country Club in Waco Tuesday.

\nSenior Mason Lewis<\/a> led the way for the Mean Green in the 36-hole one-day event as she finished third on the individual leaderboard and shot a 138 (-2) over the two rounds. Lewis shot a 66 (-4) on the final round to jump up 12 spots into her third-place finish.
\n\u00a0
\nThe 66 is a career-low round for the senior from Granbury, Texas, and her third-place finish is also a career best. She finished six strokes ahead of the No. 15 ranked player in the nation.
\n\u00a0
\nJunior Bouquet Subsomboon<\/a> also had a strong tournament as she finished seventh overall with a 142 (+2). It’s her third career top 10 finish.
\n\u00a0
\nThe Mean Green will hit the offseason riding the moment of the top three finish. They will be back in action on January 18 with a dual versus Houston Christian before beginning the Puerto Rico Classic in February.
