(Nine)<\/p>\n<p>While hundreds of surfers usually ride waves at Snapper Rocks daily, the presence of the sharks plus overcast weather conditions meant most beachgoers remained on the sand watching on.<\/p>\n<p>\ufeffExcept for one daredevil who paddled out, leaving onlookers amazed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oh my god, the guy heading out. I wouldn&#8217;t be swimming there today,&#8221; one said.<\/p>\n<p>Some fishers also tried their luck by dropping their lines in the water near the bait ball.<\/p>\n<p>The large groups of fish clustering together are fairly common along the east coast of Australia, and because they attract sharks, they trigger beach closures.\ufeff<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A\ufeff shark feeding frenzy off a popular Gold Coast surfing beach has been captured in remarkable footage.
