Loughborough-linked athletes returned to UK soil with a host of medals after recent stunning performances at global competitions in South America.<\/p>\n

During a busy period of cycling action, Loughborough Lightning\u2019s Jenny Holl secured gold in the Women\u2019s B Individual Pursuit at the 2025 UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships in Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n

Competing alongside teammate Sophie Unwin, the duo also set a new world record time in qualifying as they cruised to yet another world crown.<\/p>\n

The pair followed their gold performance to take another medal \u2013 this time bronze \u2013 in the Sprint Tandem event.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, at the Tissot UCI Track World Championships, current student and Lightning rider Iona Moir won a superb silver medal in the Team Sprint – Elite Women category.<\/p>\n

Held in in Santiago, Chile, Moir formed part of a blockbuster Great Britain squad that also included Emma Finucane and Rhianna Parris-Smith.<\/p>\n

In the Men\u2019s competition, current student and Lightning rider Joe Trueman had an event to remember by winning both silver and bronze respectively.<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old formed part of GB\u2019s Team Sprint \u2013 Elite Men\u2019s squad alongside Matthew Richardson and Hamish Turnbull, as the trio took second place. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Trueman also claimed a brilliant bronze medal of his own after a wonderful showing in the Elite Men\u2019s time trial.<\/p>\n
