Sophomore guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/tey-barbour\/30266\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30266\" target=\"_blank\">Tey Barbour<\/a> (15 points), senior guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/chandler-pigg-eacute-\/30276\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30276\" target=\"_blank\">Chandler Pigg\u00e9<\/a> (12 points), and junior forward <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/thomas-batties-ii\/30267\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30267\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Batties II<\/a> (12 points) joined Hinton in double figures.&#13;<br \/>\n\tHarvard returns 77.2 percent of its scoring from a season ago, including its top three scorers and nine of its top 11 scorers from last winter. The Crimson also brings back 81.9 percent of its rebounding and 69.6 percent of its assists.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Crimson stands as the only team in the Ivy League to return three double-figure scorers from last season in a group that includes sophomore guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/robert-hinton\/30272\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30272\" target=\"_blank\">Robert Hinton<\/a> (14.6 points per game in 2024-25), senior guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/chandler-pigg-eacute-\/30276\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30276\" target=\"_blank\">Chandler Pigg\u00e9<\/a> (13.1), and junior forward <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/thomas-batties-ii\/30267\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30267\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Batties II<\/a> (11.0).&#13;<br \/>\n\tSophomore guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/robert-hinton\/30272\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30272\" target=\"_blank\">Robert Hinton<\/a> \u2013 the 2024-25 Ivy League Rookie of the Year \u2013 averaged 14.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in 2024-25, while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 35.6 percent from 3-point range. Hinton earned Ivy League Rookie of the Week eight times (Nov. 11, Nov. 25, Dec. 9, Jan. 13, Jan. 21, Feb. 3, Feb. 24, Mar. 10) on the season, tying the Ivy League record. In the NCAA, Hinton ranked 17th among first-years in points per game (14.6) and 12th in field goals made per game (5.4). In the Ivy League, he ranked ninth in points per game (14.6), sixth in free throws made (87), sixth in steals per game (1.3), ninth in total points (393), and ninth in field goals made (145). Hinton scored in double figures 19 times on the year and eclipsed 20 points six times. He scored 393 points on the year, ranking second on Harvard&#8217;s all-time first-year single-season scoring list.&#13;<br \/>\n\tSenior guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/chandler-pigg-eacute-\/30276\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30276\" target=\"_blank\">Chandler Pigg\u00e9<\/a> \u2013 an Honorable Mention All-Ivy selection and CSC Academic All-District honoree last season \u2013 notched 13.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.7 steals per game in 2024-25, while shooting 47.3 percent from the field. He has steadily increased his production over his career after averaging 1.9 points per game in 2022-23 and 8.1 points per game in 2023-24. Pigg\u00e9 ranked 16th in the Ivy League in points per game (13.1), second in steals per game (1.7), second in minutes per game (33.4), fifth in rebounds per game (6.7), and 11th in field goals made (141). He scored in double figures in each of 22 games on the year, grabbed eight or more rebounds in each of 12 contests, and tallied two double-doubles.&#13;<br \/>\n\tJunior forward <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/thomas-batties-ii\/30267\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30267\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Batties II<\/a> averaged 11.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game on the year, while shooting 38.2 percent from 3-point distance. He scored in double figures in each of 14 games on the year. Batties II ranked second in the Ivy League and 60th in the NCAA in blocks per game (1.6), including 10th in the nation among players 6-foot-7 or shorter. He stood sixth in the conference in minutes per game (32.7). Batties II registered 6.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game on the 2023-24 season.&#13;<br \/>\n\tSophomore guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/austin-hunt\/30273\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30273\" target=\"_blank\">Austin Hunt<\/a> tallied 7.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in 2024-25. Hunt ranked fourth in the league in field goal percentage in all games (53.6) and fourth in Ivy only games (54.3). He scored in double figures seven times a season ago.&#13;<br \/>\n\tSophomore guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/tey-barbour\/30266\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30266\" target=\"_blank\">Tey Barbour<\/a> notched 4.8 points and 1.8 rebounds per game on the year. He scored in double figures four times a year ago.&#13;<br \/>\n\tHarvard welcomes five first-years to the program in the Class of 2029, a group that includes forward <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/avner-dror\/30278\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30278\" target=\"_blank\">Avner Dror<\/a> (Kfar-Hess, Israel), guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/frankie-mannino\/30279\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30279\" target=\"_blank\">Frankie Mannino<\/a> (Leesburg, Va.), guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/joseph-quartey\/30280\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30280\" target=\"_blank\">Joseph Quartey<\/a> (Cape Coast, Ghana), forward <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/ryan-sullivan\/30281\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30281\" target=\"_blank\">Ryan Sullivan<\/a> (Auburn, Mass.), and forward <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/alex-touomou\/30282\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30282\" target=\"_blank\">Alex Touomou<\/a> (Falls Church, Va.).&#13;<br \/>\n\tHarvard held its annual Crimson Madness preseason event on Friday, Oct. 17 at Lavietes Pavilion with 3-pointers, dunks, and contest winners highlighting the evening as all student-athletes and fans enjoyed the return of basketball. Throughout the evening, fans enjoyed their first opportunity to catch a glimpse of the 2025-26 edition of Harvard Basketball.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThe Crimson tipped off the 19th year of The Breakfast Club with two gatherings across September and October. Featured guests across September and October included Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Liberman, Novartis CEO Vas Narasimhan &#8217;03, MPP &#8217;03, District Attorney of Manhattan Alvin L. Bragg Jr. &#8217;95, JD &#8217;99, and 51st Governor of the State of Indiana Eric Holcomb.&#13;<br \/>\n\tDuring the summer of 2025, sophomore guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/robert-hinton\/30272\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30272\" target=\"_blank\">Robert Hinton<\/a> competed with the Chinese Taipei Senior Men&#8217;s National Team across both the Jones Cup and Asia Cup. Across 13 games for Chinese Taipei in the summer of 2025, Hinton helped the team tally a 10-3 record, while registering 12.5 points per game. Hinton helped lead Chinese Taipei to a silver medal at the Jones Cup and the quarterfinals of the Asia Cup.&#13;<br \/>\n\tSenior guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/chandler-pigg-eacute-\/30276\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30276\" target=\"_blank\">Chandler Pigg\u00e9<\/a> represented the United States in 3&#215;3 men&#8217;s basketball at the 2025 FISU World University Games in Bochum, Germany, helping the U.S. take home a silver medal at the event.&#13;<br \/>\n\tJunior forward <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/thomas-batties-ii\/30267\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30267\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Batties II<\/a> participated in the JLIN NextGen Basketball Camp in Palo Alto, California, an invite-only event in which Jeremy Lin &#8217;10 brought together 11 top Asian American college basketball players from across the country for three days of expert training and intense workouts in early August 2025.&#13;<br \/>\n\tThis past summer, the Crimson captured the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the 11th straight season, marking the longest active streak among Division I schools. Harvard&#8217;s NABC Honors Court selections in 2024-25 included <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/evan-nelson\/28751\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28751\" target=\"_blank\">Evan Nelson<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/greg-cooper\/30269\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30269\" target=\"_blank\">Greg Cooper<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/chandler-pigg-eacute-\/30276\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30276\" target=\"_blank\">Chandler Pigg\u00e9<\/a>.&#13;<br \/>\n\tHighlights from the Crimson&#8217;s non-conference schedule include the season and home opener against MIT (Nov. 7), games against power conference opponents Penn State (Nov. 19), Boston College (Nov. 26), and St. John&#8217;s (Dec. 23) and Bay State rivalry games vs. Northeastern (Nov. 11), vs. Boston University at Mohegan Sun (Nov. 22), at Massachusetts (Dec. 3), and vs. Holy Cross (Dec. 20).&#13;<br \/>\n\tHarvard featured a pair of alumni in the 2025 NBA Summer League with Robert Baker &#8217;20 competing with the Indiana Pacers and Chris Ledlum &#8217;23 playing with the Houston Rockets. Baker averaged 11.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game with the Pacers while Ledlum posted 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game with the Rockets.&#13;<br \/>\n\tIn the summer of 2025, Robert Baker &#8217;20 represented the U.S. Men&#8217;s National Team at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup, helping the team earn a bronze medal at the event in Managua, Nicaragua.&#13;<br \/>\n\tDuring the second half of Ivy League play in 2024-25, Harvard posted a 5-2 record, while averaging 72.0 points per game and shooting 46.7 percent from the field, 34.5 percent from 3-point distance, and 85.7 percent from the free throw line. Four Crimson scored in double figures during that span \u2013 guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/robert-hinton\/30272\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30272\" target=\"_blank\">Robert Hinton<\/a> (15.7 PPG), forward <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/thomas-batties-ii\/30267\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30267\" target=\"_blank\">Thomas Batties II<\/a> (14.4 PPG), guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/evan-nelson\/28751\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"28751\" target=\"_blank\">Evan Nelson<\/a> (11.1 PPG), and guard <a href=\"https:\/\/gocrimson.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\/roster\/chandler-pigg-eacute-\/30276\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"30276\" target=\"_blank\">Chandler Pigg\u00e9<\/a> (11.0 PPG).&#13;<br \/>\n\tAs a team, Harvard ranked 19th in the NCAA in fewest fouls per game (14.2) and 34th in free throw percentage (76.7) in 2024-25.
