{"id":249965,"date":"2025-10-30T02:24:08","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T02:24:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/249965\/"},"modified":"2025-10-30T02:24:08","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T02:24:08","slug":"yuki-tsunodas-red-bull-relationship-already-broken-as-crunch-decision-looms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/249965\/","title":{"rendered":"Yuki Tsunoda\u2019s Red Bull relationship \u2018already broken\u2019 as crunch decision looms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Sky Sports F1 pundit Jamie Chadwick feels Yuki Tsunoda\u2019s relationship with Red Bull is \u201calready sort of broken\u201d following another tough weekend in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Tsunoda finished outside the points after a 12-second pit stop ruined his race.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Like teammate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/f1\/racer\/852\/max-verstappen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Max Verstappen<\/a>, Tsunoda started on the mediums before switching to the softs.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Tsunoda lost crucial time battling other cars &#8211; possibly to aid Verstappen\u2019s race &#8211; before rejoining well down the field after his slow pit stop.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Speaking after hearing Tsunoda\u2019s post-race reflections, Chadwick explained why she feels his exit is now inevitable.<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p> Article continues below ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI think it must be, to be honest,\u201d Chadwick said. \u201cAnd also, the way he\u2019s talking there in the sense that he\u2019s kind of alluding to there being issues with the team or with the car, if that was him two or three races into his career with Red Bull, he\u2019d do everything he can to keep them happy and protect them.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cNow, you can tell that the relationship\u2019s already sort of broken, he\u2019s frustrated, it seems pretty done to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">1997 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crash.net\/f1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">F1<\/a> world champion Jacques Villeneuve added: \u201cIt didn\u2019t sound like he was in a very happy place.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cHe kept looking for excuses, basically, that he was fantastic at what he could control.
