\n Isabel Bacon has been named to the AFLPA’s 22Under22 Squad.\n <\/p>\n

Richmond midfielder Isabel Bacon has been named in the 2025 AFL Players’ Association’s 22Under22 Squad, presented by Intrepid, after a breakout season in the yellow and black.<\/p>\n

She earned a shot in the midfield throughout the year, after a promising pre-season saw her speed and football smarts reach a new level. But it’s her defensive prowess that has selectors excited this season.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She starred during Dreamtime in Darwin against Essendon, collecting a career-high 12 disposals, as well as eight kicks in the same match.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old was also prominent in defence in Western Australia during Round 11, laying seven tackles against the Dockers.<\/p>\n

Bacon was selected by the Tigers with pick 13 in the 2023 AFLW Draft, playing 22 matches to date.<\/p>\n

Voting closes on Thursday 6 November, with the final 22Under22 Team of the Year to be released on Wednesday 12 November at 11am (AEDT).<\/p>\n
