{"id":251849,"date":"2025-10-30T22:27:13","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T22:27:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/251849\/"},"modified":"2025-10-30T22:27:13","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T22:27:13","slug":"dp-world-tour-no-2-starting-season-at-pga-championship-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/251849\/","title":{"rendered":"DP World Tour No.2 starting season at PGA Championship &#8211; News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 25-year-old Englishman has been one of the stories of the year on the DP World Tour, winning three titles and sitting second on the Race to Dubai standings as the season reaches its climax.<\/p>\n<p>In the space of 12 months, Penge has seen his Official Golf World Ranking rocket from outside the top 400 to his current position of No.29.<\/p>\n<p>His arrival adds even more international firepower to an event that continues to attract the game\u2019s brightest names to Brisbane, including Adam Scott, Joaquin Niemann, Cam Smith, Ryan Fox, Min Woo Lee and defending champion Elvis Smylie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c2025 has been a huge year for me so far with the three wins, knowing I\u2019m in The Masters and The Open next year at worst, and breaking into the top 50 in the world. There\u2019s certainly some exciting times ahead,\u201d Penge said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really excited about coming back to Australia to kick off the 2026 season at Royal Queensland for the BMW Australian PGA Championship.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve played in Brisbane before.
