Jarrod Bowen is prepared to leave West Ham this season if the club are heading for relegation to the Championship.<\/p>\n

Nuno Espirito Santo<\/a>\u2018s arrival in place of Graham Potter has done little to lift the Irons\u2019 fortunes and the Portuguese is still yet to secure his first win.<\/p>\n

After West Ham were beaten 2-1 at Leeds United<\/a> last Friday it meant one point from his four in charge, while the 3-0 victory at Nottingham Forest earlier in the campaign remains the only one in all competitions. <\/p>\n

Bowen<\/a> might not yet have hit the heights of previous seasons yet but has still managed three goals and an assist in nine Premier League games and speculation around his future in East London is growing.<\/p>\n

Tottenham are thought to be eyeing a bid for Bowen<\/a> as the January transfer window approaches, with Liverpool previously linked to the West Ham<\/a> captain.<\/p>\n

According to Dean Jones for TEAMtalk<\/a> the club do not want to do any business over the 28-year-old, but he is said to be \u201copen to leaving\u201d if his current side face relegation.<\/p>\n

The Irons are currently 19th a quarter of the season gone with four points from nine games.<\/p>\n

West Ham are also facing the potential exit of Lucas Paqueta<\/a> in the winter market as the Brazilian looks to make a long-anticipated move.<\/p>\n

As long as the Irons aren\u2019t proving successful the spotlight will be on Bowen and his status at the club. <\/p>\n

If he has designs on winning more trophies or making a definitive claim to a place in Thomas Tuchel\u2019s crowded England side then during or after this season is surely his last real chance to do so.<\/p>\n

Whether he does want out is far from certain when he\u2019s no doubt had the opportunity to make an exit before now, but has appeared set as the star and leader of this side.<\/p>\n

However there is next to no chance of him returning to the Championship, which currently remains a genuine concern at West Ham, and at 29 by the time the January window opens he could be forgiven for feeling unsettled.<\/p>\n
