Anthony Kim\u2019s playing status for 2026 remains in limbo, but in the meantime, he\u2019s playing his best golf since returning to professional golf.<\/p>\n
After two seasons on the LIV Golf as a wildcard, Kim was relegated for finishing in the tour\u2019s drop zone for a second consecutive year. But the three-time PGA Tour winner made his second cut in three Asian Tour starts this fall on Friday. And this week marks his best 36-hole performance of his comeback.<\/p>\n

By shooting rounds of 68 and 67, Kim comfortably made the cut at the Hong Kong Open.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s the best I\u2019ve hit the ball since coming back,\u201d Kim told Bunkered on Friday. \u201cI just haven\u2019t got the ball in the hole. I definitely finally see the work I\u2019m doing. I\u2019m excited.\u201d<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old finished T-44 at the Jakarta International Championship earlier this month and missed the cut at last week\u2019s International Series Philippines. The Hong Kong Open features a number of LIV players, including Tom McKibbin, who leads at 15 under after two days, 10 shots ahead of Kim.<\/p>\n
Kim could still be re-signed by a LIV team, but he said he\u2019s unsure of his schedule for next year. <\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t think I\u2019ll play as much Asian Tour as I thought [in 2026],\u201d Kim told Bunkered. \u201cI will be playing some, but I\u2019m just going to see how it goes. I have no idea what my plans are for next year.\u201d <\/p>\n
