How does performing your discography live allow you to express your creativity in ways that simply releasing music doesn’t?

NAYEON: On stage, we feel much freer because we can directly experience our fans’ energy and cheers. What makes this tour special is that each of us have a solo stage, which lets us express our individual charms and show ONCE new sides of ourselves.

TWICE debuted 10 years ago. How have you evolved as a group from your debut to now?

JEONGYEON: After spending ten years together, our teamwork has become much stronger. We’ve learned how to understand each other naturally and move as one without having to say much. Also, over time, we’ve learned how to relax more and truly enjoy being on stage.

Love Music?

Get your daily dose of everything happening in Australian/New Zealand music and globally.

How do you maintain the bonds you all share with each other, especially when you’re on the road for long periods of times or views clash creatively?

MOMO: I think talking is the most important. We talk about things through a lot, even about small things. After so many years together, we’ve come to understand each other so well that sometimes with only one look we know how the other person feels.

How does the ‘This is For’ tour differ from your previous ones? What do you hope Australian ONCE take away from this tour?

SANA: This is our first time doing a tour with a 360° stage, which allows us to see ONCE from every direction and make eye contact no matter where they are. With this setup, ONCE can also enjoy our solo performances in a more lively and immersive way.

JIHYO: I hope our Australian fans can truly feel how grateful we are for their love and support. Over the past ten years, we’ve been deeply moved by ONCEs who have supported us from far away, and through this tour, we want them to feel just how thankful we are.

TWICE has won over 100 awards, sold millions of albums, and has 25 million monthly listeners on Spotify. How has your relationship with fame and success changed over the years?

JIHYO: Numbers and achievements are still part of what we do, but we’ve come to value our health, happiness, and the joy of performing together even more. Success feels most meaningful when we’re truly enjoying the process side by side.

MINA: We’re always grateful to our fans, and we’ve learned that sharing emotions through music and performance is what truly gives our work meaning.

What do you want your legacy to be?

NAYEON: I hope TWICE will be remembered as artists who genuinely enjoyed every moment on stage, and as a team that brought warmth and happiness to people through our energy and music.

What have your journeys thus far taught you about yourselves and each other?

CHAEYOUNG: I’ve realised how much strength and comfort I receive from the members. Even during tough times, simply being together gives me courage. I’ve also learned that while perfection is nice, what really matters is doing everything with sincerity.

What are the biggest challenges that come with touring globally with a production this size?

DAHYUN: Travelling long distances and dealing with jet lag can be hard, but seeing ONCE from around the world instantly makes everything worth it. The energy we get from fans in every country gives us strength to keep going and do our best.

SANA: This tour has been especially meaningful because performing on a 360° stage was something completely new for us, too. The preparation was challenging, but once we saw the fans’ faces and their excitement, it felt like all our hard work had truly paid off.

10 years into your careers, is there anything about these current shows that surprises you?

TZUYU: Even after ten years, every stage still feels new and exciting. The energy from the crowd, the atmosphere, and even performing our older songs brings fresh emotions each time.

TWICE Australia Dates 2025

Presented by JYP Entertainment and Live Nation

For tickets and more information, visit livenation.com.au

Saturday, November, 1st & Sunday, November, 2nd
Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney

Saturday, November, 8th & Sunday, November, 9th
Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne

K-Pop group TWICE will kick off their Australian tour tonight in Sydney.
