Speaking after finishing second in the championship, Alex Marquez reveals the advice his older brother gave him in Japan to combat pressure.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe said to me in Japan, \u2018The people are giving you a lot of pressure\u2019,\u201d he began.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2018If you finish third, I was third [in 2024]. Just don\u2019t put pressure on yourself. You are making more than what you expected. You are making a really good season. So, just try to enjoy it.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it\u2019s just what I did from that race, and now I\u2019m here.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, I said already in the video call on WhatsApp, I said, \u2018We are now in our bucketlist party, because in Japan I still had to finish my mission\u2019, and he celebrated his title.<\/p>\n

Marc Marquez will sit out the rest of the 2025 season after suffering a complicated shoulder injury in a collision at the Indonesian Grand Prix.<\/p>\n
Therefore, he was not in Malaysia to celebrate Alex Marquez\u2019s second in the standings.<\/p>\n
However, he wrote on Instagram: \u201cWe grew together, we had fun together, we worked together, we suffered together and this year… WE WIN TOGETHER! I love you, baby brother.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alex Marquez went on to win the Malaysian Grand Prix, registering his third race victory of the 2025 season.<\/p>\n
