Lando Norris eased to victory at the Mexico City Grand Prix, beating second-place Charles Leclerc by 30 seconds at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.<\/p>\n
It was the biggest winning margin since Max Verstappen won the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2023, and was the McLaren driver’s 10th triumph of his F1 career.<\/p>\n
In doing so, he also equalled a forgotten piece of F1 history, becoming only the second driver to win their first 10 grands prix at different circuits.<\/p>\n
The British driver matched the achievement of Michael Schumacher, who won his first decuria between 1992 and 1994, when he took his first title.<\/p>\n
The former Jordan, Benetton, Ferrari and Mercedes driver would go on to win 91 times in total, including seven F1 drivers’ championships. So, Norris is in exclusive company.<\/p>\n
