Casio\u2019s GW-9502K-1 Mudman, the company’s new collaboration with Earthwatch Japan, features African hippo artwork, Carbon Core Guard structure, and solar charging. The initiative supports wildlife protection and conservation.<\/p>\n

Casio<\/a> is expanding its conservation-themed G-Shock lineup with the new GW-9502K-1 Mudman “African Hippo” Earthwatch collaboration<\/a>, launching in November. This limited-edition Master of G has been unveiled as a motif for wildlife protection. Just like older models from the series, this new watch is durable, has eco-conscious construction, and comes with unique design cues. <\/p>\n

The GW-9502K-1 is part of Casio\u2019s “Love The Sea And The Earth” initiative, which supports Earthwatch Japan<\/a> and environmental research. The case back and packaging feature an African hippo – the species Earthwatch aims to conserve – alongside a lush riverside motif which is accented by some animal and nature elements.<\/p>\n

Staying true to the G-Shock Mudman series, the watch uses a rugged Carbon Core Guard structure, with prominent rose gold accents on the crowns and screws. The key distinguishing feature is the brown and stone-grey bezel. Eco-friendly elements include a strap made from biomass plastics and packaging produced from recycled materials. <\/p>\n

The GW-9502K-1 delivers shock resistance, mud resistance, 200-meter water resistance, Tough Solar charging, and Multi Band 6 atomic timekeeping. The case back is engraved with hippo artwork and “Love The Sea And The Earth 2025”. The included strap is inscribed with the text “Change the World. Yourself.” <\/p>\n
