{"id":25616,"date":"2025-07-27T09:12:09","date_gmt":"2025-07-27T09:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/25616\/"},"modified":"2025-07-27T09:12:09","modified_gmt":"2025-07-27T09:12:09","slug":"10-best-superannuation-funds-of-fy25","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/25616\/","title":{"rendered":"10 best superannuation funds of FY25"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/retirement-16.9-1200x675.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full wp-post-image\" alt=\"A happy couple looking at an iPad.\" decoding=\"async\" fetchpriority=\"high\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Image source: Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The median Australian <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/definitions\/superannuation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">superannuation<\/a> fund delivered a 10.5% total return in FY25, beating the returns of FY24 (9.1%) and FY23 (9.2%).<\/p>\n<p>New <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chantwest.com.au\/media\/lyvfjyzw\/chant-west-media-release-17-july-2025-final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">data<\/a> from Chant West shows that despite the US tariff-induced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com.au\/2025\/04\/04\/asx-200-plunges-as-us-tariffs-fall-out-continues\/#:~:text=Uncertainty%20about%20how%20the%20newly,from%20its%20most%20recent%20peak.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">market meltdown<\/a> in April and ongoing global military conflicts, superannuation savings continued to rise last financial year. <\/p>\n<p> Shares the key driver of FY25 superannuation returns <\/p>\n<p>Chant West senior investment research manager Mano Mohankumar said resilient share markets drove the &#8216;tremendous&#8217; FY25 results. <\/p>\n<p>The S&amp;P\/ASX 200 Index (ASX: XJO) rose by 9.97% and produced total returns of 13.81% in FY25.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0S&amp;P 500 Index\u00a0(SP: INX) increased by 13.63% and delivered total returns of 15.16%.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Dow Jones Industrial Average\u00a0(DJX: .DJI) ascended 12.72%, with total returns of 14.72%.<\/p>\n<p>Mohankumar said foreign currency was also a positive force for superannuation investments in FY25, given the falling Aussie dollar.<\/p>\n<p>In hedged terms, international shares delivered a 13.7% return to superannuation investors.
