\n\tIn a recent interview with Bustle<\/a>, Dave Franco<\/a>, James Franco<\/a>\u2018s brother, asserted that \u201cno one was going to hire me just because I was James Franco\u2019s little brother.\u201d However, he did admit that having a movie-star sibling helped him get his foot in the door when he started his acting career.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf I sucked, I would\u2019ve disappeared very quickly,\u201d he said. He added of their relationship, \u201cAt this point, I think he\u2019s excited just to see me trying new things and to see me grow.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDave Franco\u2019s first notable credit was on a Season 10 episode of the WB drama \u201c7th Heaven\u201d in 2006. A year later, he broke into the movie business with a small role in Greg Mottola\u2019s iconic coming-of-age comedy \u201cSuperbad.\u201d His star rose in the early 2010s with supporting roles in \u201cFright Night,\u201d \u201c21 Jump Street\u201d and \u201cNow You See Me.\u201d His more recent credits include \u201cRegretting You,\u201d \u201cTogether\u201d and \u201cLove Lies Bleeding.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJames Franco also broke out on the small screen, landing his first major role on Paul Feig\u2019s cult classic TV show \u201cFreaks and Geeks.\u201d In 2002, he landed the role of Harry Osborn in Sam Raimi\u2019s \u201cSpider-Man,\u201d solidifying the older Franco as a Hollywood mainstay. In the years following, his notable credits included \u201cPineapple Express,\u201d \u201cMilk,\u201d \u201c127 Hours,\u201d \u201cSpring Breakers,\u201d \u201cThis Is The End,\u201d \u201cThe Interview\u201d and \u201cThe Disaster Artist.\u201d<\/p>\n
