Artiste manager Nana Poku Ashis has advised Ghanaian filmmakers to evolve and adopt more creative strategies to meet modern audience expectations.<\/p>\n

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on October 31, 2025, Ashis noted that times have changed and people no longer have the luxury of sitting through movies that fail to capture their attention from the very beginning.<\/p>\n

\u201cTimes have changed so much that people don\u2019t have the luxury of time to sit down and watch a movie. It needs to be something that, from the trailer, catches attention before they\u2019ll even want to pay attention to the whole film,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Lots of businessmen have lost interest in Ghana’s creative space – Ashis<\/a><\/p>\n

According to him, filmmakers must move beyond traditional promotional methods and prioritize producing high-quality, captivating trailers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are still doing things like just putting the movie title out there and expecting people to go and watch. The trailer must be exciting, something in it should catch my attention and make me want to see the movie,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

Ashis urged movie producers to embrace creativity and innovation to remain relevant in today\u2019s highly competitive entertainment industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen our people want to make movies nowadays, they should try to evolve \u2014 find creative ways,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
