{"id":256461,"date":"2025-11-02T00:19:10","date_gmt":"2025-11-02T00:19:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/256461\/"},"modified":"2025-11-02T00:19:10","modified_gmt":"2025-11-02T00:19:10","slug":"multiple-people-stabbed-on-uk-train-in-appalling-incident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/256461\/","title":{"rendered":"Multiple people stabbed on UK train in \u2018appalling incident\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>London: Multiple people have been taken to hospital after a series of stabbings on a train near Cambridge in eastern England and two people have been arrested, in what British Prime Minister Keir Starmer called an \u201cappalling incident\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>British police and ambulance services said a number of people had been stabbed on the train to Huntingdon, with armed officers seen entering the train in videos on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Cambridgeshire police said they were called at 7.39pm on Saturday (6.39am Sunday AEDT) after reports that multiple people had been stabbed on a train.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArmed officers attended and the train was stopped at Huntingdon, where two men were arrested.
