OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. \u2013 The Belmont women’s golf team is in sixth place after the two rounds of The Robbie held this weekend at RTJ Trail at Hampton Cove in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.<\/p>\n
Belmont carded a second round 300 to finish the day in sixth at 600.\u00a0 Georgia has the team lead at 563, with Lipscomb in second at 580.<\/p>\n
Two Bruins are among the top-20 after 36 holes.\u00a0 Graduate student Chloe Tarkany<\/a> shot an one under par 71 on Saturday to remain in a tie for fifth place at 143.\u00a0 She is six back of the individual leader, Georgia’s Maria Garcia (137).<\/p>\n Sophomore Sloane Biddle<\/a> shot a 73 on Saturday to move up to a tie for 20th place at 149.\u00a0<\/p>\n Other Belmont scores from day one included: junior Paige Hammarstrom<\/a> (T-25, 152) sophomore Sophie Skoog<\/a> (T-39, 158), and freshman Lauren Davis<\/a> (T-39, 158).<\/p>\n Sophomore Emilee Swagger<\/a>, competing as an individual, shot a career best three-under par 69, to move up to 56th place at 159.\u00a0<\/p>\n The third and final round will begin for the Bruins with a 8:00am shotgun start.\u00a0 Live scoring can be found at BelmontBruins.com.<\/p>\n Follow Belmont Women’s Golf on social media –\u00a0@BelmontWGolf on X and\u00a0@belmontwgolf on Instagram – for complete coverage of the Bruins.
