Nearly all 18 clubs have iconic jumper numbers vacant ahead of the 2026 AFL<\/a>\u00a0season, meaning new recruits and draftees could be in line to carry on a club legend’s legacy.<\/p>\n

With the retirements of several legends, the delisting of a few other greats and a number of blockbuster trades involving superstars of the game, the door has opened for some fresh faces to represent some iconic digits next year.<\/p>\n

Here are the most famous jumper numbers vacant at each\u00a0AFL<\/a> club ahead of 2025, with the most recent and best players to have worn them listed.<\/p>\n
