Drake took the double-wristing trend to the extreme this week, wearing not one but two gold Rolexes on stage at a concert in Canada. Rather than have one on either wrist, he stacked both the Sky-Dweller and Daytona on his right wrist. Believe it or not, the Canadian rapper has pulled this two-watches-one-wrist stunt before: He wore two iced-out Jacob & Co. timepieces at once last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The \u201cHotline Bling\u201d singer has made the rest of the recent celebrity watch flexes feel relatively tame. We did, however, spot Tramell Tillman<\/a> rocking the timepiece of the moment\u2014the Urban J\u00fcrgensen UJ-2\u2014at the TIME100 Next Gala. We also clocked Russell Crowe showing Nuremberg co-star Rami Malek his off-catalog gold Daytona \u201cLe Mans\u201d on the red carpet at the film\u2019s premiere in L.A. and Fat Joe sporting the coveted Daytona \u201cGiraffe\u201d at ComplexCon. To be honest, these hefty gold Rollies are pretty hard to miss.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Russell Crowe pulled out one of the rarest modern Rolexes for the L.A. premiere of his film Nuremberg. The off-catalog piece is a yellow-gold version of the white-gold \u201cLe Mans\u201d Daytona<\/a> (Ref. 126529LN) that the Crown released in 2023 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The model was discontinued<\/a> after an incredibly short 10-month production run, rendering it exceptionally rare and very, very pricey<\/a>. Rarer still is the yellow-gold variant (Ref. 126528LN), which wasn\u2019t even listed on the Rolex website. It can sell for over $250,000 on the secondary market. Both models notably sport a red \u201c100\u201d on the ceramic bezel in honor of the legendary endurance race\u2019s centenary.<\/p>\n

There was certainly a lot going on at Vogue World in L.A. on Sunday, but Greg Tarzan Davis still managed to stand out in a sharp Zenga suit, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Chopard bling. He paired an 18-karat white gold ring from the Ice Cube Collection with a stainless-steel L.U.C Qualit\u00e9 Fleurier<\/a> watch. Released in 2005, this model was the first Chopard to earn certification from the Fleurier Quality Foundation. It obviously offers, then, a high level of precision and finishing, but it is also the epitome of quiet luxury,<\/a> understated and elegant. Priced at $23,400, this particular example pairs a 39 mm stainless-steel case with a silver sunburst dial and a brown leather strap. Inside lies an in-house L.U.C 96.09-L mechanical movement with a 65-hour power reserve.<\/p>\n

Drake stacked two Rollies on one wrist at his show in Toronto on Sunday. The first is a gem-encrusted Daytona<\/a> (Ref. 126538TBR) that was released in 2024. The glitzy chronograph features an 18-karat yellow-gold case, a golden dial with diamond markers and contrasting counters, a diamond-set bezel and lugs, and a black Oysterflex strap. The second is a Sky-Dweller<\/a> (Ref. 336938) that debuted in 2023. This version of the trusty travel watch sports a 42 mm yellow-gold case, a bright black dial, and a matching gold Oyster bracelet. With the Daytona retailing for $128,850 and the Sky-Dweller priced at $55,000, Drake had over $180,000 worth of Rolex gold on his wrist.<\/p>\n

Liam Hemsworth is the latest strapping young lad to embrace small Cartiers, following the lead of Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a>, Jacob Elordi<\/a>, Paul Mescal<\/a>, and Tyler, the Creator<\/a>. The Aussie actor, who was rocking a 40 mm Rolex Daytona<\/a> last year, was spotted wearing a comparatively svelte 34 mm Santos-Dumont<\/a> on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week. This model\u2014which, ironically, happens to be an \u201cextra large\u201d in the Cartier lineup\u2014features a yellow-gold case, a silver sunray dial with black Roman numerals and sword-shaped blued steel hands, a beaded crown set with a sapphire cabochon, and a matching blue alligator leather strap. It\u2019ll cost you $19,100.<\/p>\n

Fat Joe may have been speaking about sneakers at this year\u2019s ComplexCon, but all we could think about was his watch. The \u201890s rapper was wearing an extremely rare, off-catalog Rolex Daytona. Released earlier this year, the chronograph (Ref. 126555TBR) has been nicknamed the \u201cGiraffe\u201d because the diamond inlay on the brown dial resembles the markings on a giraffe. For added sparkle, the bezel is set with 36 trapeze-cut diamonds. Rounding out the design is an Everose gold case and brown Oysterflex bracelet. You can expect to pay $350,000 for a pre-owned example.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not unusual to see Rami Malek rock a Cartier on the red carpet<\/a>\u2014he has been an ambassador for the Parisian jeweler since 2020\u2014but the Tank he was wearing at the Nuremberg premiere in L.A. was pretty unusual. Released in 2023, this particular Tank Louis Cartier pays tribute to earlier 1970s iterations with a radical tri-gold dial. The face is essentially made up of tiny squares of yellow, white, and rose gold. The 33.7 mm case is rose gold, too, bringing a touch of contrast to the blue alligator strap and the signature sapphire cabochon crown. Adding to the allure is the fact that we can no longer see the watch on the Cartier website.<\/p>\n

Tramell Tillman, quite fittingly, wore a watch that is rapidly rising in popularity as he was recognized as one of the industry\u2019s rising stars at the TIME100 Next Gala in New York City on Thursday. The Urban J\u00fcrgensen UJ-2, one of three six-figure models the watchmaker released in June as part of a relaunch<\/a>, was recently spotted on the wrist of fellow actor and undeniable tastemaker Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet<\/a>. Designed by master independent watchmaker Kari Voutilainen, the time-only UJ-2<\/a> features a 39 mm case available in either platinum (like Tillman\u2019s) or rose gold and a guilloch\u00e9 dial with a small seconds display at 5 o\u2019clock and a power reserve indicator at 12 o\u2019clock. It is also equipped with a double-balance-wheel natural escapement (Caliber UJ-2) that provides a power reserve of 52 hours.
