Ronda Rousey may not be impressed with many people in the world of mixed martial arts, but she\u2019s still very much a fan of UFC CEO Dana White.<\/p>\n
Rousey has been making headlines recently off an interview with comedian Bert Kreischer where she trash talked the MMA fanbase, declared Khabib Nurmagomedov ain\u2019t all that,<\/a> and even dismissed the combat sports expertise of Joe Rogan, who \u2019never fought.\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n But when it comes to Dana White?<\/p>\n \u201cI love him so much,\u201d Rousey declared.<\/p>\n So much so that Rousey credits most of UFC\u2019s success to White, and suggested that the promotion would lose it\u2019s iron grip on the sport the moment he leaves.<\/p>\n \u201cI think without Dana, its soul is gone,\u201d Ronda said of the UFC. \u201cWhen Dana\u2019s done, I think the dominant MMA organization, that title will be up for grabs. Because I think Dana is it. Without him, it\u2019s just three letters.\u201d<\/p>\n Rousey was later asked to compare UFC\u2019s Dana White to WWE\u2019s Vince McMahon. \u201cRowdy\u201d had a lot of harsh things to say<\/a> about McMahon after he was drummed out of the WWE<\/a> in the wake of his sex trafficking lawsuit,<\/a> and here she underscored the difference between White\u2019s business acumen and McMahon\u2019s ego-driven approach.<\/p>\n \u201cDana White wants to be as successful, [wants] his company to be as successful as possible, and make as much money as possible,\u201d she said. \u201cBecause I think he\u2019s got a lot to prove in that space. He\u2019s got that new money veneer, he wants to earn his respect in that space with all of his peers.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I think Vince didn\u2019t really care about how successful the company was or how much money he was making. He cared about how much influence he had on other people culturally. He was trying to impress his viewpoint of the world on everybody else through that.
