Hot on the heels of ex\u2011wife Lily\u202fAllen\u2019s divorce album West End Girl, reports allege that Brown lodged a complaint ahead of production on the show\u2019s fifth and final season \u2014 one that included \u201cpages and pages\u201d of allegations.<\/p>\n

The Mail on Sunday<\/a> reported that Harbour faced a months\u2011long internal enquiry after the British actress complained about his behaviour towards her. The outcome of that investigation remains undisclosed, but the newspaper specified Brown\u2019s complaint did not include claims of any sexual impropriety. A source told the publication, \u201cMillie\u202f Bobby\u202f Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.\u201d<\/p>\n

Netflix declined to comment on any investigation, and the publication reported that Lily\u202fAllen had supported her then\u2011husband throughout the \u201cbrutal\u201d ordeal.<\/p>\n

What Did David Harbour Do? <\/p>\n

We don\u2019t yet know the exact nature of Brown\u2019s accusations, nor the result of the investigation. Millie Bobby Brown has reportedly had a personal representative with her on set while filming the final series, which is anticipated to be one of the most\u2011watched shows on the platform in its history. The source said: \u201cNetflix will never comment on an internal investigation, but the fact they\u2019ve not denied it speaks volumes. Stranger\u202f Things helped put Netflix on the map. Millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly anticipating the finale. No one wants anything to take attention away from that.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Hopper\u2019s love and care, Eleven emerges from a non-verbal traumatised runaway into a (relatively) normal teenage girl. Stranger Things fans who\u2019ve cherished this dynamic for season will no doubt be shocked to hear Brown\u2019s allegations. <\/p>\n

The Stranger Things Season Five promotional tour was already set to be tense with Harbour having recently come under global scrutiny following his ex\u2011wife Lily\u202fAllen\u2019s hit album West\u202f End \u202fGirl, released 24\u202fOctober\u202f2025, in which she charts the demise of their four\u2011year marriage, which ended in December\u202flast year. The record is filled with allusions to infidelity and detailed descriptions of sex addiction and butt\u2011plug and lube\u2011filled bags of sex toys stashed at (currently for sale) Brooklyn brownstones<\/a>. And, while Allen has described the album as a blend of fact and fiction, since its release, a woman named Natalie Tippett has come forward<\/a> claiming to be \u201cMadeline\u201d, an implied mistress whose name appears twice on the album. Brown, for her part, has had a much quieter year. Since completing filming, Brown has adopted a baby girl<\/a> and relocated to Georgia with her husband, actor Jake Bongiovi. The couple operate an animal rescue centre. <\/p>\n
