Katie Ginella has zero close friends on Real Housewives of Orange County. But she does have a BFF on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Both Katie and her friend have only starred on their series for two seasons. But in both of their cities, drama surrounds their names, which likely gives them many things to commiserate about.

RHOC’s Katie Ginella and RHOSLC’s Bronwyn Newport are close friends

The reunion trailer for RHOC Season 19 teases a messy ride. Thankfully, Katie will time to compose herself, thanks to the other fights that have nothing to do with her. Except, they somewhat do, since Katie showed up this season to help stir the pot.

In a newly released first look reel from this reunion, we see Andy Cohen engaging this cast in a round of softball-like questions. He needed to warm up his fighters, and nothing says speak like easy questions regarding fashions and pre-filming facials. But then, Andy asked, “I’m curious, before we wrap up, who from any other Housewives show would you say that you are the closest to?” Right after, he chose Katie as his first RHOC star to answer this question.

“Um. I mean, Bronwyn [Newport] and I talk a lot, so maybe Bronwyn,” Katie said. “Salt Lake City, Bronwyn?” Andy asked. “Yeah,” Katie answered.

Katie and Bronwyn have similar yet differing storylines this season. Both ladies feel bullied by certain members of their casts. However, Katie stands accused of leaking unverified information to a blogger, while Bronwyn believes that her cast is leaking false narratives about her. One can only imagine how their conversations must go.

It’s a good thing that Katie has someone in her corner. Because the way Season 19 played out, she is currently on an island built for one in the OC.

The Real Housewives of Orange County reunion kicks off this Thursday at 8/7c on Bravo. It’s streaming on Peacock.
