Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> celebrated Halloween on Pretty Girl Avenue this year.\n<\/p>\n The singer, 26, brought spooky season to the stage once again during her Short n’ Sweet Tour stop at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Oct. 31.\n<\/p>\n During her show, the Man’s Best Friend singer serenaded the crowd with her hit single, “Manchild,” as she stepped out in a Wonder Woman costume. She also sang the first track from her 2024 album, Short ‘n Sweet, “Taste,” while she rocked the superhero look, which became so viral that Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter, shared her sweet reaction to the tribute.\n<\/p>\n “I see this little argument about Wonder Woman being brunette\u2026Reminder! Wonder Woman is within all of us, and sometimes, she has blonde hair like @SabrinaAnnLynn<\/a>,” she wrote on X<\/a> on Nov. 1.\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n But her tribute to iconic movie characters didn’t stop there. Carpenter then arrived on stage as Barbie,\u00a0wearing Margot Robbie’s memorable hot-pink cowgirl outfit from the 2023 film. The singer aptly covered Aqua’s “Barbie Girl.” She also performed her 2023 hit “Feather” in her bright costume.\n<\/p>\n She ended her rotation of costumes by dressing up as Wilma Flintstone as seen in a fan video shared to X<\/a>. Instead of wearing Wilma’s exact look, Carpenter took the silhouette of the cartoon character’s dress and used the orange-and-black pattern from her husband Fred Flintstone’s signature look.\n<\/p>\n As the cartoon character, she sang “Please, Please, Please,” and then made her “Juno” arrest<\/a> with a surprise guest: Drew Barrymore<\/a> as Scream’s Ghostface.\n<\/p>\n Once the show wrapped, Carpenter stepped out for a New York night with Saturday Night Live star Veronika Slowikowska. The two coordinated in T-shirt dresses decorated with animal graphics and over-the-knee boots for a party held at Chez Margaux.\n<\/p>\n Sabrina Carpenter and Veronika Slowikowska step out for a Halloween party in New York City.<\/p>\n ASPN \/ BACKGRID<\/p>\n Last year, the Grammy winner performed in Dallas on the holiday and showed out in two costumes that were part inspired by pop culture’s iconic figures and part influenced by her own pin-up wardrobe.\n<\/p>\n She opened the show in a Playboy Bunny look<\/a>\u00a0complete with bunny ears and a tux-inspired bodysuit topped with a furry bunny tail. She then slipped into a Tinkerbell outfit made out of fake wings and a sparkly green halter dress.\n<\/p>\n Later in the night, she went the extra mile with a third outfit change, this time sliding into a look that dreams are made out. In a TikTok video shared on the night after Halloween, Carpenter revealed her transformation into Hilary Duff’s Lizzie McGuire from the eponymous film.\n<\/p>\n Carpenter went all out, recreating the famous scene on the app with Taylor Dayne’s 2003 song “Supermodel,” a ginormous igloo dress and her friend Paloma<\/a> as Miss Ungermeyer.\n<\/p>\n Carpenter kicked off the second leg of her sold-out tour in Pittsburgh on Oct. 23. She performed new hits “Manchild” and “Nobody’s Son<\/a>,” which received a bit of blowback from singer Rina Sawayama<\/a>, who urged Carpenter’s creative team to show “respect”\u00a0for Japanese culture<\/a> after it was interpreted in the performance.\n<\/p>\n In her opening monologue, the “Bed Chem” singer playfully addressed the backlash she got for the cover art of her latest album,\u00a0Man’s Best Friend.<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u201cSome people got a little freaked out by the cover,\u201d she began. \u201cI\u2019m not sure why? It was just this: me on all fours, with an unseen figure pulling my hair. But what people don\u2019t realize is that\u2019s just how they cropped it.”\n<\/p>\n “If you zoom out, it\u2019s clearly a picture from the 50th anniversary special of\u00a0Bowen [Yang]<\/a>\u00a0helping me up by the hair, after\u00a0Martin Short<\/a>\u00a0shoved me out of the buffet line, saying something like, \u2018Daddy needs his mini quiche,’ ” she then joked.\n<\/p>\n Carpenter has been on SNL two previous times: in October 2024 as a musical guest and as a guest star this February in a sketch with Pedro Pascal for the show’s 50th anniversary special.<\/a><\/p>\n
