DECLAN Fraser<\/a> is set to bring the #777 back to the Repco Supercars Championship on the Camaro he\u2019ll race full-time in 2026.<\/p>\n

PremiAir Racing is the one Supercars team which routinely lets all its drivers choose their numbers, as opposed to have team-orientated digits.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why it has rotated between #22 (Chris Pither), #23 (Tim Slade<\/a>), #31 (James Golding<\/a>), #62 (Richie Stanaway<\/a>) and #76 (Garry Jacobson) in its four seasons to date.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like doing that. It gives them a little bit of ownership,\u201d team owner Peter Xiberras told V8 Sleuth.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I am going to give them that opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

That last line was in reference to his 2026 drivers Fraser and Jayden Ojeda<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Ojeda is initially expected to adopt the #62 for the rest of this season having replaced Stanaway effective immediately, but is undecided on a permanent number beyond that.<\/p>\n

For Fraser, it\u2019s straightforward.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, if Pete, Roland (Dane) and Peter Vale allow me to bring it back, I\u2019d love to have #777 back on the grid,\u201d he told V8 Sleuth.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously it\u2019s something pretty close to me now \u2013 I have even got it tattooed on my body after I won the Super2 championship, so I\u2019d love to have it back in the category.\u201d<\/p>\n

The triple-seven has featured in just 40 ATCC\/Supercars Championship races to date.<\/p>\n

Aside from Fraser borrowing it for the 2023 Townsville 500, #777\u2019s last use in the main game was the sole time it ran for a full season \u2013 on the Ford Rising Stars Falcon of Michael Patrizi in 2008.<\/p>\n
