{"id":260738,"date":"2025-11-03T23:46:12","date_gmt":"2025-11-03T23:46:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/260738\/"},"modified":"2025-11-03T23:46:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-03T23:46:12","slug":"kusi-tv-to-broadcast-11-aztec-non-conference-basketball-games","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/au\/260738\/","title":{"rendered":"KUSI-TV to Broadcast 11 Aztec Non-Conference Basketball Games"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN DIEGO \u2013 San Diego State Athletics, in conjunction with KUSI-TV, will televise all 11 non-conference home basketball games for both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams, six for the men and five for the women, an unprecedented number of games on local television.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The men\u2019s package of games, which were not picked up by its national television partners, features four games that are scheduled to tip at 7 p.m. PT, beginning with the regular-season opener against Long Beach State (Tuesday, Nov. 4), then Troy (Tuesday, Nov. 18), Utah Valley (Wednesday, Dec. 3) and Lamar (Wednesday, Dec. 10).<\/p>\n<p>The game against Idaho State (Sunday, Nov. 9) will tip at 2 p.m. and the non-conference finale against Whittier (Monday, Dec. 22) is set to get underway at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<br \/>With this announcement, all 16 San Diego State men&#8217;s basketball regular-season home games will be televised either locally or nationally.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The women\u2019s games start with their regular-season opener against Cal State San Marcos (Saturday, Nov. 8) with a 3 p.m. PT tip. CSUN (Wednesday, Nov. 12) will be at Viejas Arena for a 6 p.m. tip. Three days later, on Saturday, Nov. 15, Cal State Bakersfield will be in town for a 1 p.m. start.<\/p>\n<p>The final two women\u2019s games are against Santa Clara (Wednesday, Nov. 19) at 11 a.m. and Pacific (Sunday, Dec. 7) at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first time in program history that San Diego State women&#8217;s basketball has had games broadcasted locally.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Quis will be on the play-by-play call.
